Hi there,

so you’re interested to find out if I love roses or gerberas, if I get a kick from smooth chocolate mousse or a salt caramel brittle, and if I am Zen at sunset or at dawn. And ultimately, what style of photography I have.
Well, here is what makes my life as a photographer so exhilarating.
I live in London, possibly the world’s greatest city. It is not the head-spinning Tokyo or loud and never-asleep New York. London is busy and big, it’s extravagant, but it manages to preserve its equanimity and offer such a wide variety of scenes and moods that inspire me as a photographer.
I love my job. Still now, so many years after I started, I get butterflies in my tummy when I tell people I’m a photographer.
Photography for me is about crafting memories. Pressing the ‘pause’ button on time and capturing that special joyful moment for a couple madly in love with each other, or a new mum doting on her adorable baby, or young, carefree siblings running barefoot in the field of blossoms. And no matter how much time afterwards will pass, with the images I create you will reminisce the warmth of the sun on your face, and a gentle breeze; soft tweet of birds; a song playing nearby; the calm surrounding, and utmost love you felt creating that special moment that will last for a lifetime.
I love natural light and the versatility it offers to my photography.  Finding beautiful light can transform an everyday scene into something extraordinary. Perhaps this is the reason why one of my most favourite places in London is Golders Green park and the pergola there. Every week the park boasts of new blooms and ever-changing greens; they are so vibrant and fresh, and captivating, and they give so much life and context to my images.
I like different styles of architecture, I take great delight in photographing in Shoreditch, where narrow and often dark, grey streets are uplifted by its dynamic, quirky and voguish atmosphere. When I travel in Europe, I often go back to Barcelona, as this city has enthralling architecture and always high skies. Barça is always moving, stimulating; I can spend hours wandering its streets and parks and never get tired of the creative process of photography.
I do not care for static, stilted line-ups from a bygone era, my photography is dynamic, modern and refreshing.
I hope by now you get a sense of my style. But I’m always happy to chat to you if you are still looking for your own style or are not sure about the creative process photography entails.
So drop me a line or call me, I look forward to creating YOUR memories!
With love,
Tatiana Smith
